God’s plan for my life has been nothing like I imagined.

My photography career began as an intern with Southern Living Magazine in Birmingham, AL.  After 3 short months, Southern Progress hired me as a full-time travel photographer for both Southern Living and Coastal Living magazines.  It was a dream job for any single woman fresh out of college!

​

My life changed quite a bit after marriage and 4 children.  I have been extremely fortunate to stay home and raise our children, and mourn the loss of our oldest child. 

 

I have been fulfilled snapping pictures of my kids as the years flew by and their faces matured.  But, 9 years after leaving my career behind, my passion for capturing the love between families and the innocence of children needed to be fed.

Capturing an image, freezing a single moment in time, reveals just how rich and beautiful the journey of life truly is.
